Beautiful, Long-Lasting
Metal-Free Denstistry

At McLeod Dental Care , we understand your concerns regarding the use of metal fillings. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to offer our patients the option of using advanced, new fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metal.

Veneers

Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns and can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of a thin, ceramic material, are designed to bond to your existing teeth. They look incredibly natural, are long-lasting, and can make you look years younger.

Laser Technology

Laser dentistry may eliminate many of the common complaints of traditional dentistry. A laser device replaces the rotary tool, in some instances, and can be used for everything from surgery to tooth bleaching. The only addition to the procedure is the requirement of protective glasses to shield the eyes from the laser beam. A laser doesn't make any noise and doesn't require physical contact with your teeth. Water isn't usually needed but air suction is used to keep the treated area cool.

Drill-less Dentistry

You can now frequently enjoy more comfortable cavity preparation.

Our advanced air abrasion technique uses microscopic particles to spray away the decayed area. More...

Digital X-Rays

We offer in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images. These images require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film that must be developed, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor and instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the video monitor in the treatment room. Therefore, we can see your teeth and surrounding structures immediately. Feel free to contact us for more details, or to make an appointment!

Dental & Restorative Implants

Dental implants are essentially permanent, attached teeth that replace, partials, bridges or dentures. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone and a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighbouring teeth (like a bridge). Treatment can be finished in 3 to 5 visits over the space of about 4 to 12 months. More...

Crowns

Crowns, also called caps, are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns minimize physical discomfort and provide support for damaged teeth. Ultimately, crowns can improve the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth more resistant to injury.
